While the ratings for the TUF Brazil III Finale prelims were reportedly strong, the same cannot be said about the main card, which featured Stipe Miocic versus Fabio Maldonado in the main event.

Saturday’s card, which went down in Sao Paulo, Brazil, reportedly drew 560,000 viewers for the prelims and averaged 609,000 for the main card (numbers via MMA Fighting.com). All other, Saturday night UFC broadcasts, which have been broadcast nationally to date, have reportedly topped that figure.

The TUF Brazil III Finale was originally set to feature Miocic versus former UFC heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos, but the latter was forced to withdraw due to injury. Miocic went on to quickly stop Maldonado in the first round.

Since the card was tailored for the Brazilian market, via competitors from the nation, the ratings for the finale are believed to have been significantly higher in Brazil.
