UFC 175 was widely expected to be one of the promotion’s top drawing cards in 2014, and it looks like that prediction was on the mark.

The July 5th event, which featured Chris Weidman and Ronda Rousey defending their respective titles, is believed to have sold between 500,000 and 545,000 pay-per-view buys. That’s according to a report from MMA Fighting.com, which cites sources in the cable industry.

If accurate, that would make UFC 175 the top selling PPV card in 2014 and the biggest since UFC 168. The latter drew much higher numbers, however, as UFC 168 is estimated to have sold around 1,000,000 buys.

At UFC 175, Weidman defended the middleweight title by working his way to a decision win over Lyoto Machida.

Rousey retained the bantamweight title by knocking out Alexis Davis in 16 seconds.

The event was hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
