UFC 182 and its grudge match between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier was expected to draw big, pay-per-view numbers, and according to a new report, the card did just that.

The event took place on January 3rd, and in the main event, the light-heavyweight champ Jones scored a unanimous decision win over his rival Cormier.

According to MMA Fighting.com’s Dave Meltzer, early estimates have UFC 182 selling between 740,000 and 820,000 PPV buys. If those numbers are accurate, it would make the event the top selling PPV card since UFC 168 in December, 2013.

That event featured a rematch between former middleweight champ Anderson Silva and current champ Chris Weidman. The latter won the bout after Silva broke his leg in the second round.
