Report: UFC FN 46 “Biggest Number” Ever for Fight Pass According to Dana White
By FCF Staff
Not only was UFC Fight Night 46 a sellout in Dublin, but the Conor McGregor, headlined card reportedly drew big numbers for UFC Fight Pass.
Speaking after Saturday’s event, which saw McGregor stop Diego Brandao in front of a roaring, hometown crowd, UFC President Dana White relayed the following (quote via MMA Junkie.com):
“Tonight was a big night for Fight Pass,” White said. “It was the most watched prelims ever on Fight Pass, and it was the biggest number (overall) we’ve ever done.”
White didn’t offer any specific figures in terms of how many viewers the card drew.
Fight Pass is an online video service that the UFC introduced earlier this year, which broadcasts many of the promotion’s events overseas.
McGregor was returning from knee surgery at the July 19th card, and recorded his third win with the UFC.
UFC FN 46 also featured Gunnar Nelson choking out Zak Cummings in the co-headliner, as well as victories from fighters like Ian McCall, Norman Parke and Cathal Pendred.
