Report: UFC on FOX 25’s Overnight Ratings Lowest to Date For Series

Chris Weidman

By FCF Staff

It looks as though Saturday’s UFC on FOX 25 card, which feature Chris Weidman taking on Kelvin Gastelum in the headliner, struggled to draw viewers.

The July 22nd card took place in Long Island, New York, and in addition to Weidman – Gastelum, featured Dennis Bermudez taking on featherweight contender in the co-main event. According to a report from MMA Fighting, the event’s overnight ratings indicate the event averaged 1.64 million viewers. Those ratings would make it the lowest watched, UFC on FOX card to date (based on overnight figures).

The previous low mark for the series was UFC on FOX 24 in April, which reportedly drew 1.74 million viewers in overnight numbers. That event saw flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson submit Wilson Reis in the headliner.
