For some time now there’s been speculation that former Strikeforce star and actress Gina Carano could be heading to the UFC, but according to a new report, talks between the parties have stalled.

In the latest edition of “UFC Tonight”, the show’s Ariel Helwani reported that negotiations between the promotion and Carano have slowed. The 32 year-old fighter hasn’t fought now since 2009, when she was stopped by Cris “Cyborg” while fighting for Strikeforce.

On the other hand, the report said talks between the UFC and decorated boxer Holly Holm are “progressing.” Holm, who is also 32, has gone 7-0 now since transitioning into MMA.
