Report: UFC’s Dana White and Ken Shamrock Have Ended Feud

Ken Shamrock

By FCF Staff

After years of public quarrelling, and even a legal battle, Ken Shamrock and UFC President Dana White have reportedly settled their differences.

News of the apparent settlement is being reported by the gossip publication TMZ.com, which claims that both White and Shamrock have confirmed their feud is over. The report quotes White saying the two have “squashed our beef”, and Shamrock relaying that ending their disagreement is “good for the fans.”

Over the years, Shamrock has criticized the UFC over several issues, including fighter compensation. In 2009, the UFC Hall of Fame member attempted to sue the promotion’s parent company ZUFFA, after he was released. Shamrock lost the suit, however, and was forced to pay for the company’s legal fees.

The 50 year-old Shamrock hasn’t fought since 2010, when he was stopped by Mike Bourke while competing for King of the Cage.
