Report: Urijah Faber Says Conor McGregor is “Dangerous”, While Dominick Cruz is “Not”

Urijah Faber

Although Urijah Faber has had some exchanges with Conor McGregor, and recently coached opposite of him on TUF 22, clearly Dominick Cruz remains his biggest rival.

Faber and McGregor were tapped to be the coaches for the latest season of TUF, not long after the two had a brief, back stage scuffle prior to UFC 189. Since then, Faber has said he and McGregor had more exchanges during TUF 22, although the two have been cordial to one another in recent appearances.

Recently, Faber spoke to FOX Sports.com about his relationship with McGregor, and while doing so, he made the following comments about Cruz.

“I think Conor’s a lot cooler than Dominick just in general,” Faber said. “So the banter’s been better. There’s a little more mutual respect and some good banter back and forth.

“Conor’s a dangerous guy, Dominick’s not a dangerous guy. So that’s a difference also. It adds an element that I like.”

Faber and Cruz have fought twice before and each man holds a win over the other. The two have quarrelled publicly for years.

McGregor is scheduled to fight featherweight champ Jose Aldo on December 12th. Faber, meanwhile, will take on Frankie Saenz that same night at UFC 194.
