After news surfaced recently stating that former TUF competitor Vinny Magalhaes has signed with the UFC, according to a new report, the M-1 Global light-heavyweight champ will make his Octagon return against Igor Pokrajac.

The news that Magalhaes will reportedly fight Pokrajac, September 22nd at UFC 152 in Toronto was reported by Sportsnet commentator Joe Ferraro.

Magalhaes (9-5) has gone 7-1 since he was released by the UFC in 2009. Most recently the renowned grappler stopped Mikhail Zayats in the third round at M-1 Challenge 27 last October.

Pokrajac (25-8) has recorded three consecutive wins since he lost by unanimous decision to Stephan Bonnar in December, 2010, as the noted striker has defeated Todd Brown, Krzysztof Soszynski and most recently Fabio Maldonado.

UFC 152 will be hosted by Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and will feature a bout between Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson to determine the promotion’s flyweight champion.
