After several days on the run, veteran fighter “War Machine” has reportedly been captured in the Los Angeles area, in connection to an alleged incident which left two people seriously injured.
According to a report from the Toronto Sun, authorities in Simi Valley, California have announced that they have arrested “War Machine (also known as Jon Koppenhaver).
The story says the 32 year-old faces “felony charges of domestic battery with substantial bodily harm, assault with a deadly weapon and battery by strangulation”.
Koppenhaver has been on the run since last weekend, after an alleged altercation with two individuals in Las Vegas. Mack and Koppenhaver have had a relationship in the past.
The fighter has claimed he’s innocent and that “one day the truth will come out.”
Following news of the alleged incident, Bellator announced it has released Koppenhaver from its roster.
