Fighting Eduard Folayang May 31st

ONE FC has added UFC and WEC vet Kamal Shalorus to its growing roster, and according to multiple reports, the Iranian fighter will battle Eduard Folayang at the promotion’s May 31st event in the Philippines.

Shalorus reportedly announced the news first via his Facebook page.

The 35 year-old veteran is looking to end a three fight losing streak. After the accomplished wrestler went undefeated in his first nine bouts, Shalorus (7-3-2) was stopped by Jim Miller,  Khabib Nurmagomedov and Rafael dos Anjos under the UFC banner.

Folayang (12-3) is coming off a stoppage loss (via doctor’s decision) to Lowen Tynanes at a Universal Reality Combat Championship event in December, after scoring a unanimous decision win over Felipe Enomoto at ONE FC 5 last August.

The May 31st, ONE FC 9 event will be hosted by the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
