By FCF Staff

The promotional landscape of MMA has a new addition, as according to multiple reports the Nevada State Athletic Commission has granted the World Series of Fighting a promoter’s license. The organization, which is expected to be headed up by noted kickboxing vet Ray Sefo, has reportedly requested to hold its first event on November 3rd.

In addition, according to a report from MMA Weekly, World Series Fighting is currently negotiating with the NBC Sport Network, and is close to signing a deal that would broadcast events on a network formerly called Versus.

Versus used to be a broadcasting partner with the WEC and UFC.

Veterans like Roger Huerta, John Gunderson and Joey Villasenor are reportedly expected to compete for WSF.
