After going three years without fighting, Abel Cullum has agreed to take his second fight in two months, and will fight Carl Deaton on October 10th.

The bout will co-headline Resurrection Fighting Alliance’s 19th card, which will be hosted by the Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

Deaton was originally scheduled to fight UFC vet Jeff Curran at the upcoming event.

News of the switch was reported by Combat Press.com and was re-tweeted by the promotion.

Cullum (19-6) returned to action for the first time since 2011 last month, and submitted Ulysses Gomez at RFA 18.

Deaton (8-1) is coming off a stoppage win over Adam Schumacher while fighting at a Driller Promotions card in July.

RFA 19 will also feature a bout between Gabriel Checco and Jake Collier for the vacant, middleweight belt.
