Chidi Njokuani worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Gilbert Smith at RFA 22, but the promotion’s welterweight title remains unclaimed.

Njokuani came in several pounds over weight for the main event bout, and as a result, he could not win the vacant welterweight belt.

With the victory, Njokuani extended his overall record to 12-4, while Smith saw his fall to 10-4.
