The UFC has reportedly booked a compelling welterweight fight for its July 8th card, as former champ Robbie Lawler will take on Donald Cerrone.

The UFC had planned to have Cerrone fight Lawler last November, but the latter elected to take more time off, following his KO loss to Tyron Woodley. The new booking is being reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, who is citing UFC President Dana White as the source.

The loss to Woodley ended Lawler’s reign as champion, and concluded the dangerous fighter’s five fight winning streak.

Cerrone, meanwhile, is coming off a stoppage loss to Jorge Masvidal in January, which snapped his four fight winning streak.

UFC 213 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
