Rodrigo Ribeiro vs. Wade Henderson Announced for Dare 2/11

Thailand’s Dare Fight Sports has announced that BJJ black belt Rodrigo Ribeiro will fight middleweight Wade Henderson at the promotion’s upcoming September 24th, event in Bangkok. The Dare 2/11 card will be hosted by the city’s Club Insomnia.

“Ximbica” Ribeiro (8-7) will head into the bout having lost back-to-back bouts to Fabio Nascimento and Marcelo Santos Gomes, after scoring wins over Henrique Cesar Nogueira and Carlos Galvao. The Brazilian, Gracie Barra fighter is a member of the Evolve Fight Team in Singapore.

“G.O.A.T.” Henderson (6-7) is coming off a submission win over Mawande Vapi in June to end a three fight losing skid. The Phuket Top Team member is a BJJ brown belt and has won stadium titles in Muay Thai and professional boxing.

According to the official Dare Fight Sports announcement, the winner of the September 24th bout will advance to the quarterfinals of the promotion’s ongoing series to determine a middleweight champion.
