Although at this juncture it appears as though Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos will not be making her UFC debut anytime soon, the promotion has reportedly announced that it has added veterans Sara McMann and Alexis Davis to the newly created women’s bantamweight division.

According to multiple reports the signings were announced during a media call today to promote the upcoming, February 23rd, UFC 157 card in Anaheim. The event will feature bantamweight champ Ronday Rousey taking on Liz Carmouche.

McMann is a former, Olympic Silver Medalist wrestler who has won six straight fights since she transitioned into MMA in 2010. Most recently, McMann scored a unanimous decision win over Shayna Baszler while competing for Invicta FC last July.

The veteran Davis (13-5) is also coming off a win over Baszler, as she defeated the fighter with a rear-naked-choke at an Invicta FC event last month. The Cesar Gracie Fight Team competitor is 4-1 in her last five bouts.

No information regarding whether the two will fight each other in their Octagon debut was reportedly given.
