Score Media has added a notable welterweight bout to its upcoming October 14th event in Hamilton, Ontario, as the promotion has confirmed that DREAM Welterweight Champion Marius Zaromskis will take on established vet Dan Hornbuckle on the card.

The upcoming Score Fighting Series event will be hosted by Hamilton Place and will be streamed live on thescore.com. The card will also be taped and  broadcast on The Score Network at a later date.

Zaromskis (15-6) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Eiji Ishikawa at DREAM’s “Fight for Japan” event in July, after losing by UD to current Strikeforce prospect Jordan Mein at a Score Fighting Series card in June.

The Lithuanian fighter and former DREAM Grand-Prix winner is 2-2 with 1 no contest in his last five bouts.

Hornbuckle (22-5) will be looking to get back on track as the American Top Team fighter has dropped back-to-back bouts to Brent Weedman and most recently Luis Santos, while competing for Bellator.

The Sengoku veteran is 2-3 in his last five fights.

The upcoming Score Fighting Series event will be co-headlined by a previously announced middleweight bout between UFC vet Joe Doerksen and former Bellator competitor Brett Cooper.
