After being let go by the UFC, following a 20 year long run with the company, it looks like Mike Goldberg could end up calling some Bellator cards.

In late, 2016, Goldberg was informed that UFC 207 would be his last event, doing play-by-play for the promotion. Goldberg recently reported that he wasn’t given any reason for the company’s decision, and that UFC President Dana White has not reached out to him since.

Bellator President Scott Coker attended a press conference today in London, England to promote their May 19th event in the city. While speaking to the press, Coker confirmed that they’ve been in talks with Goldberg.

Coker added that if Goldberg was hired, he would announce events that current broadcaster Sean Grande can’t attend.

The May 19th, Bellator 179 card will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Rory MacDonald and Paul Daley.
