Shannon Cai vs. DK Panjabutra Added to Sept. 24th DARE 2/11

Dare Fights Sports has confirmed a lightweight contest for the promotion’s upcoming, September 24th event in Bangkok, Thailand, as “One Shin” Shannon Cai will take on DK Panjabutra.

The winner of the bout will advance to the quarterfinals of Dare’s lightweight tournament, which will see the winner collect $125,000.

Cai will be making his MMA debut having gone 5-1 in amateur action. The Thai fighter is a brown belt in Judo and currently trains out of the Burn Shell MMA team in Bangkok.

Panajabutra is a Judo black belt and decorated competitor, who was a member of the Thailand National Judo in 1998 and 1999. The fighter, who will also be making his MMA pro debut, is a coach at the Panjabutra team in Chiang Mai.

The DARE 2/11 card will be hosted by Bangkok’s Club Insomnia and will be available for viewing via online pay-per-view at darelive.tv
