Strikeforce Challengers 17: 1,418 Complimentary Tickets Issued According to NSAC

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the attendance figures for Strikeforce’s July 22nd Challengers event in Las Vega, and according to the organization a total of 1,876 people were in attendance at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort.

Of the 1,876 tickets utilized, the NSAC is reporting that 1,418 were complimentarily issued and that 458 were sold, producing a total gate of $42,987.50.

98 tickets for the card went unsold.

Challengers 17 featured the third bout between Bobby Voelker and Roger Bowling in the main event, which saw Voelker take the rubber match by stopping the welterweight in the second round.

The next Challengers card is scheduled for August 12th and will feature a lightweight bout between Jorge Gurgel and Joe Duarte in the main event. The card will be broadcast on Showtime.
