After watching Conor McGregor pick apart Eddie Alvarez in November, the latter’s striking coach Mark Henry, believes the lightweight champ could knock out Floyd Mayweather.

Recently there’s been a renewal in speculation and discussion, about a boxing match between McGregor and the undefeated boxer, Mayweather. Dana White even tabled an offer to the latter, but Mayweather turned it down.

Recently Henry spoke with the Daily Star, and while discussing McGregor – Mayweather, the renowned coach said this:

“I think he (McGregor) would have the possibility of knocking out Mayweather. He’s way bigger than Mayweather too.”

“Boxers only cut about ten pounds, whereas Conor probably walks around at 173lbs. So he’s also a lot bigger than Mayweather too.

“I even think he has a chance of knocking out Mayweather if it was in the first three to four rounds. After that, I’d definitely give the edge to Mayweather.”

McGregor is currently taking a break from fighting, in advance of the birth of his first child, but the Irish star believes a bout with Mayweather will be next.
