On this episode of Full Contact Fighter Radio, host Jeff “Wombat” Meszaros and co-host James Kellaris review the matches of “UFC 129: St. Pierre vs. Shields.” First, what is going on with Georges St. Pierre? Can anyone challenge him? Can anyone take his belt away? Or stop him from doing the same thing to them again and again for five rounds? Tune in and hear what we have to say. Also, if GSP was so much better at striking, why was it that he was the one who left the Octagon with a smashed face while Shields left looking his Sunday best? Why wasn’t GSP able to knock Shields out? We have a variety of interesting thoughts. Also, what about Mark Hominick vs. Jose Aldo? Who was it that gave all five rounds to Aldo? Did they even see the last round? Come on. Plus, Machida vs. Couture? We honestly don’t think there’s much to say besides that Couture should never fight again and Steven Seagal is very likely paying fighters to say he taught them stuff. Hint: it involves hard sparring and birthday cake. Who would play the role of Lesnar if The Ultimate Fighter was a movie? What about Junior Dos Santos? Hint: someone is played by Zak Galifinakas. As you can guess, we go off on a few tangents this week, but it is all highly relevant, we promise. Has Lesnar done enough to warrant nearly an hour of chatter about his poor coaching skills and bizarre usage of seemingly out-of-date and mildly insulting catch-phrases? Did he learn how to speak by watching Al Pacino movies and hanging out with old farmers? It’s an interesting possibility. We’re not sure, but it seems very likely! Then it’s time to talk about this Thursday’s “UFC Live 3: Sanchez Vs. Kampmann” where Diego Sanchez takes on Martin Kampmann in the main event. Will Kampmann kick off Sanchez’ head right off his shoulders? What about the other fights? Tune in and join the festival of banter. Then, hang on as we talk about “Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson” which happens on Saturday. Will Dan Henderson KO Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante with the same brutality he used on “Babalu” Sobral? First, it’s time to pick the winners for “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” where B.J. Penn and Jon Fitch will clash to see who will be the next top-contender at welterweight. Will Penn be able to submit or knock out Fitch? Or will the wrestler drag the Hawaiian into a unanimous decision beating, the kind which he has trademarked while leaving a path of destruction in the 170lb division. Should we have ended that sentence with a question mark? Who knows? We answer most of these questions and then move on to the co-main event where U.K. standout Micheal “The Count” Bisping takes on Jorge “El Conquistador” Rivera. Why is this fight happening? Does the UFC matchmaker dislike the Brit? Does he have anything whatsoever to gain by fighting the dangerous dark horse? Your guess is as good as ours, but our guesses are broadcast for everyone to hear. Then we move along to chat about the rest of the card, again meandering off-topic now and then to keep things interesting. Speaking of interesting, we catch up with former WEC champion “Razor” Rob McCullough to talk about his upcoming bout in the Bellator lightweight tournament, the winner of which gets a hundred thousand dollars and a shot at champion Eddie Alvarez. What? Oh, yes, friends. It’s true. Tune in and hear all about that; plus Razor’s ideas about the difference between Muay Thai and MMA. Oh, snap. This podcast is hoppin’!

Let’s not forget about Mark Hominick’s destruction of former training partner George Roop, which took second-place in the worst beating of the night only to Matt Wiman’s 15-minute annihilation of Cole Miller, which started out terrible and then got worse with every minute that went by. Then, it’s time to chat about this weekend’s Strikeforce event, where Nick Diaz is set to face Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos (no, not the girl) in a fight to crown the welterweight champion. Will Diaz be able to handle the aggression of the Brazilian? What about the co-main event, where Robbie Lawler and “Jacare” De Souza meet for the middleweight belt? Will Lawler get submitted?
