As Jose Aldo continues to recover from the injury that has postponed a fight with Erik Koch, rising contender Chan Sung Jung has taken to Twitter to announce that he wants a crack at the UFC featherweight champ.

In a post that appeared on Jung’s Twitter feed, “The Korean Zombie” relayed:

“I want Jose Aldo. I will end his reign as a Champion.”

The 25 year-old Jung has worked his way into title contention with three impressive wins in a row.

Since the Korean fighter was knocked out by George Roop at WEC 51 in September, 2010, Jung (13-3) has KO’d Mark Hominick and scored highlight reel submission wins over Leonard Garcia and most recently Dustin Poirier.

Aldo was scheduled to fight Koch at UFC 149 on July 21st, however, the bout has been postponed due to the champion’s aforementioned injury.

Aldo hasn’t fought since January when he knocked out Chad Mendes at UFC 142.

No date for the Aldo-Koch fight has been announced.
