Anthony Johnson has started his run at light-heavyweight on the right foot, as the UFC vet scored a second round, stoppage win over Esteves Jones last night at Titan Fighting Championship 24.

The bout, which took place in Kansas City, Kansas, marked the first time Johnson had fought since he decided to compete at 205 pounds.

The former welterweight made the decision after failing to make weight several times in recent years. Johnson has now won back-to-back fights since he was tapped out by Vitor Belfort at UFC 142 in January.

In another of the Titan FC 24’s main attractions, renowned jiu-jitsu competitor Braulio Estima choked out Chris Holland in round one to win his MMA debut.
