For the first time since 2010, it looks like Rick Hawn will be fighting for a promotion other than Bellator, as Titan FC has announced it’s signed the accomplished fighter.

The organization recently announced the news via Twitter, and on Instagram, Titan FC posted:

Please welcome @rickhawn to the #TitanFC Family! Great work by @lexmcmahon @sfacutbirth@jeffaronson & Joe Wooster. Hawn is a great addition to both the lightweight and welterweight divisions.

During Hawn’s (18-4) lengthy run with Bellator, the former Olympic Judo competitor won tournaments at both lightweight and welterweight. The only men to beat Hawn during his time with the promotion were welterweight champ Douglas Lima, former lightweight champ Michael Chandler, UFC vet Jay Hieron, and most recently, Dave Jansen.

In total, the Tristar fighter went 10-4 with Bellator. According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, Hawn’s new deal is for four fights.

“Genghis” is expected to make his Titan FC debut on December 19th.
