While the action stemming from the current season of “The Ultimate Fighter” continues to unfold, the UFC has confirmed that try-outs for the reality program’s fifteenth instalment will take place December 5^th, at the Texas Station in Las Vegas, Nevada.

TUF 15 will feature competitors from the lightweight and welterweight divisions; all fighters trying out for the show must be at least 21 years old, and carry a winning record of at least three professional fights.

The next season of TUF will air in 2012 on FX, due to the recent broadcasting agreement that was signed between the channel’s parent company FOX and the UFC. For the first time ever, TUF 15 will feature weekly live fights rather than taped bouts.

The season’s coaches have not yet been announced.

The current season of TUF was coached by middleweight veterans Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Michael Bisping, and features competitors from the featherweight and bantamweight divisions.
