TUF 17 finalist Uriah Hall has been tapped to fight veteran middleweight and former TUF 11 competitor Nick Ring at UFC on FOX Sports 1 on August 17th. The event will be hosted by Boston’s TD Garden Arena.

Hall (7-3) is coming off an upset loss to Kelvin Gastelum in the TUF 17 finals in April, as the middleweight lost by split decision to the noted wrestler. Hall blasted his way through the competition during TUF by scoring stoppage wins over Adam Cella, Bubba McDaniels and Dylan Andrews.

Ring (13-2) will be looking to rebound from the split decision loss he incurred versus Chris Camozzi at UFC 158 in March. Prior to that, at UFC 149 last July, the middleweight scored a UD victory over Court McGee. The rugged vet has gone 3-2 to date in the Octagon.

Other bouts that have been previously confirmed for UFC on FS 1 include Travis Browne vs. Alistair Overeem, Thiago Alves vs. Matt Brown and Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson.
