TUF China Finale: Dong Hyun Kim to Battle John Hathaway
By FCF Staff
Shortly before the UFC will make its Singapore debut on Saturday, the promotion has announced that Dong Hyun Kim will battle welterweight John Hathaway at the March 1st, TUF China Finale. The card will be hosted by the Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena in China.
Kim (18-2-1) will be fighting for the first time since the South Korean fighter knocked out Erick Silva at UFC FN 29 in October, which was his third straight victory. The 32 year-old, renowned grappler is 4-1 in his last 5 fights, with his only loss during that stretch coming versus Demian Maia (via TKO due to injury).
Hathaway (17-1) was scheduled to fight the aforementioned Silva this past June, but was forced to withdraw due to injury. As a result, the British fighter hasn’t fought since September, 2012, when he scored a UD win over John Maguire. The 26 year-old is also 4-1 in his last five contests.
No other bouts have been confirmed yet for the March 1st, TUF China Finale event.
