Just over a month out from its TUF Nations Finale card on April 16th, the UFC has announced that Sean O’Connell will make his Octagon debut versus light-heavyweight Ryan Jimmo. O’Connell is stepping in for the injured Steve Bosse, who originally was scheduled to compete at the Quebec City bound card.

O’Connell (15-4) will arrive in the UFC armed with a six fight win streak, which includes a win over established vet Marvin Eastman. O’Connell had been preparing for a May 9th bout with Victor Valimaki at MFC 40.

Jimmo (18-3) is coming off a TKO loss (due to a leg injury) to Jimi Manuwa at UFC FN 30 in October, after scoring a UD win over Igor Pokrajac in June. The veteran is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.

The TUF Nations Finale will be hosted by Quebec City’s Colisee Pepsi, and will feature Michael Bisping versus fellow middleweight contender in the main event.
