There’s been no shortage of smack talk between Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy as their April 16th bout nears, and the latter continued to hurl verbal jabs at the middleweight this week.

The two will square off in the headliner of the upcoming TUF Nations Finale card, which will go down in Quebec City, Quebec.

Kennedy appeared on the latest edition of “UFC Tonight”, and when asked what concerns him about Bisping’s abilities, the decorated soldier stated:

“Bisping’s health concerns me and if he’s going to actually fight me that night. I have 25 minutes to put on a show. We’re the main event. I really want to give people what they expect, which is a good fight. But Bisping has to play along and fight.”

And when asked if he’s perhaps trashed Bisping too much as the pivotal fight nears, Kennedy replied:

“An emotional fighter isn’t a good fighter. But I’m doing it because I think he’s easy to make fun of. He’s a jerk.”

Kennedy (17-4) is coming off a first round, knockout win over Rafael Natal in November and has won three straight fights.

Bisping (24-5), meanwhile, hasn’t competed since April when he scored a technical decision over Alan Belcher. The perennial contender has been sidelined since as a result of eye surgery.
