Not long after the Maximum Fighting Championship announced that Anthony Birchak will fight Tito Jones for its first bantamweight title on October 4th, the promotion has confirmed two more title fights for the event.

At heavyweight, Smealinho Rama will battle Anthony Hamilton to determine the MFC champion.

Rama (6-0) is coming off a first round, knockout win over Mike Hackert at MFC 36 in February, while Hamilton (9-2) scored a submission win over Will Courchaine in his last outing.

At middleweight, Sam Alvey will take on Jason South to crown a new 185 pound champion, since former champ Elvis Mutapcic is now with WSOF.

Alvey (20-5) stopped Jay Silva in his last bout at MFC 37 in May, and the undefeated South (10-0) tapped out Phil Dace, while competing for Showdown Fights that same month.

The October 4th, MFC 38 card will be hosted by Edmonton’s Shaw Conference Center and will be broadcast live on AXS TV.
