Tyron Woodley Announces He’s Fighting Stephen Thompson at UFC 209

Following a recent back-and-forth with Stephen Thompson on Twitter, Tyron Woodley has announced that he’s fighting the talented striker at UFC 209. The bout will take place on March 4th in Las Vegas.
The two fought at UFC 205 in November, and Woodley retained the welterweight title via a majority draw. After Thompson posted a picture of a bout agreement for a rematch with Woodley at UFC 209, the two traded verbal shots on Twitter.
More recently, however, Woodley announced he’s agreed to face Thompson, March 4th, during his podcast with Din Thomas.
