Tyron Woodley Says The Likes of GSP, Conor McGregor & The Diaz Brothers Aren’t Willing to Fight

Tyron Woodley continues to search for his next opponent, as the welterweight champ says several all-star fighters have passed on a chance to face him.

Recently Woodley reported that he’s started training for a bout in July, however, the powerful fighter didn’t disclose any additional details. More recently, the champ was a guest on “UFC Unfiltered“, and Woodley had this to say about his search for an opponent:

“There’s a lot of fighters who say, ‘I’ll fight anybody, anytime, anywhere,’ but they really don’t mean that,” Woodley said. “If Conor McGregor wanted to fight me, he has an opportunity to do so. So does (Michael) Bisping. So does Georges St-Pierre. So does Nick Diaz. So does Nate Diaz.

“All these guys have a chance to step up to the plate. But ain’t nobody picked up the bat.”

Woodley is coming off a majority decision win over Stephen Thompson in March, after battling the latter to a majority draw in November.
