Quinn Mulhern’s lightweight debut has been postponed, as the veteran has been forced to drop out of his UFC 164 bout with Ryan Couture due to a broken hand. The promotion has announced that TUF 15 Finalist Al Iaquinta will take his place.

Mulhern confirmed his withdrawal by tweeting an x-ray of his injured hand, and the promotion confirmed later that Iaquinta would be his replacement.

Iaquinta (5-2-1) hasn’t fought since the TUF 15 Finale, when he was submitted by the season’s winner Michael Chiesa.

Couture (6-2) is coming off a stoppage loss to Ross Pearson at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in April, after scoring a split decision win over KJ Noons at Strikeforce’s last card in April.

UFC 164 will be hosted by Milwaukee’s Bradley Center and will feature lightweight champ Benson Henderson versus Anthony Pettis in the main event.
