After an injured Vaughan Lee was forced to withdraw from next Saturday’s UFC 167 card in Las Vegas, Will Campuzano has agree to step up on short notice and fight Sergio Pettis at the event. The UFC confirmed the flyweight bout today via the promotion’s website.

Campuzano (13-4) will be returning to the UFC for the first time since 2011, when he lost by unanimous decision to Chris Cariaso. The 27 year-old fighter has proceeded to win five straight fights since then, which includes a split decision victory over Hideo Tokoro at a Vale Tudo Japan event last month.

Pettis (9-0), who is the 20 year-old brother of lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, is coming off a first round, submission win over James Porter while fighting for the North American Fighting Championship in September. The Roufusport fighter won Resurrection Fighting Alliance’s flyweight title in June by stopping Dillard Pegg.

UFC 167 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will feature welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre versus Johny Hendricks in the main event.
