UFC 168 will feature several compelling fights Saturday night, and among that list is a featherweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Diego Brandao.

Poirier is the promotion’s #6 ranked 145’er, while Brandao has been working his way towards the top ten ranks, by winning four of his five UFC bouts to date.

Recently Poirier spoke to UFC.com about their December 28th fight and explained why the former TUF winner is the “enemy.”

“He’s an enemy,” said Poirier. “He’s the enemy and I have fifteen minutes to finish him. And I’m going to give him plenty of ways out. I am the better fighter. My skills are more polished every time I step into the cage, and I’m excited to show the world my growth, put another win between me and that Cub Swanson loss, and work my way up.”

The 24 year-old fighter lost by unanimous decision  to Swanson in February, before handing Erik Koch a UD defeat at UFC 164 in August.

Saturday’s UFC 168 card will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
