Ronda Rousey needed just over one minute tonight at UFC 170 to defend her bantamweight title, as she quickly stopped fellow Olympic medalist Sarah McMann with strikes.

McMann came out firing and landed several punches on Rousey, but the Judoka countered by tying the decorated wrestler up along the Octagon fence. Not long after, Rousey dropped McMann to the canvas with a knee to the liver and followed up with punches. Although McMann was still conscious and was attempting to move, referee Herb Dean stopped the bout and a chorus of boos ensued.

Daniel Cormier’s light-heavyweight debut was also a brief affair, as the former heavyweight quickly caught Pat Cummins with several, punishing punches for the TKO win.
