Undefeated prospect Patrick Cummins volunteered to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 170, after Rashad Evans withdrew, and the light-heavyweight has gotten his wish.

Cummins started a campaign on Twitter Wednesday calling for the bout, and now the promotion has announced that the fighter will battle Cormier, February 22nd.

The former, two time, NCAA Division 1 All-American wrestler has gone 4-0 to date in MMA competition, and Cummins currently trains with Reign MMA and Kings MMA.

Cormier (13-0) is coming off a one-sided, decision win over Roy Nelson at UFC 166 in October.

After news that the injured Evans couldn’t fight as scheduled, Cormier relayed via Twitter that he was still hoping to fight at UFC 170.

UFC 170 will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
