By FCF Staff

The May 24th, UFC 173 card has received its 11th bout, as the promotion has announced that Anthony Njokuani will fight lightweight Vinc Pichel. The event will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Njokuani (16-7) hasn’t fought since April, 2013, when he knocked out Roger Bowling at UFC on FOX 7. Prior to the win, Njokuani dropped a unanimous decision to Rafael dos Anjos in July, 2012. The noted striker is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.

Pichel (8-1), meanwhile, is coming off a UD victory over Garett Whitely at UFC FN 35, after he was KO’d by Rustam Khabilov in December, 2012. The TUF 15 vet is 4-1 in his last 5 scraps.

UFC 173 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between champion Chris Weidman and Lyoto Machida.
