UFC 175: Stefan Struve Says He’s “OK” After Last Minute Withdrawal
By FCF Staff
UFC 175 was supposed to mark the return of Stefan Struve, but after the heavyweight had a fainting spell backstage, he was pulled from his fight with Matt Mitrione.
The news immediately sparked concern throughout the MMA world, since Struve was treated for a rare heart condition earlier this year, which put his fighting career in doubt.
Despite the unsettling event, the 26 year-old fighter has made it be known he’s doing well.
Just want to let everybody know I’m ok, had a blackout in the locker room and we had to call the fight off, thanks for the love folks!

Struve hasn’t fought since March, 2013, when he was stopped by Mark Hunt. Prior to the defeat the Dutch heavyweight had won four straight.
