After suffering back-to-back, stoppage losses, Gray Maynard will look to get back on track on August 2nd, when he takes on Fabricio Camoes. The fight will be part of UFC 176, which will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The lightweight bout has been announced by the UFC, after the Los Angeles Daily News was the first to report the upcoming match-up.

Maynard (11-3-1) is coming off TKO defeats versus TJ Grant and Nate Diaz, after earning a split decision over Clay Guida in June, 2012. The accomplished wrestler, who is 1-3-1 in his last 5 bouts, is currently ranked #8.

Camoes (14-8-1) is also looking to rebound from consecutive defeats, as “Morango” has been defeated by Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard in his last two outings. The third degree, BJJ black belt has gone 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

UFC 176 will headlined by a featherweight bout between champion Jose Aldo and perennial contender Chad Mendes.
