Not only did TJ Dillashaw record his first title defense at UFC 177, but the rising bantamweight earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus after doing so.

The champion received the honor and an extra $50,000 for knocking out Joe Soto in the fifth round with a head kick and punches.

The other “POTN” and $50K went to Yancy Medeiros, for taking out lightweight Damon Jackson with a highlight reel, reverse guillotine choke in round two.

“Fight of the Night” went to lightweights Ramsey Nijem and Carlos Diego Ferrreira, for their memorable battle. Ferreira won the bout via second round stoppage.

UFC 177 was hosted by the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.
