UFC 178: Demetrious Johnson, Conor McGregor, Donald Cerrone Lead Way in Payroll

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the salaries for Saturday’s UFC 178 card in Las Vegas, and leading the way in pay was flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson.

According to the figures the NSAC has released, Johnson was paid $129,00, plus a $54, 000 win bonus, for a tally of $183,000. Johnson tapped out Chris Cariasio with a second round, kimura to defend his title. The challenger was paid $24,000.

The second highest earner was rising featherweight Conor McGregor, who collected $150,000 (including a $75,000 win bonus) for his stoppage victory over Dustin Poirier. The latter earned $34,000.

Lightweight contender Donald Cerrone made $126,000 for his decision win over former Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez, who earned $100K.

Here are the salary figures that were released to the NSAC by the UFC. They do not include any additional money a fighter may have earned through sponsorships, performance bonuses or pay-per-view dividends.

Stephen Thompson: $32,000 (includes $16,000 win bonus)

def. Patrick Cote: $33,000

Brian Ebersole: $42,000 (includes $21,000 win bonus)

def. John Howard: $21,000

Kevin Lee: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)

def. Jon Tuck: $10,000

Manny Gamburyan: $50,000 (includes $25,000 win bonus)
