UFC 179 Weigh-In Results: Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes Make Weight, Three Fighters Miss Mark on First Attempt

Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes cleared the final hurdle for their headlining fight tomorrow night at UFC 179, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The champion Aldo came in at 145 pounds, as did the #1 contender Mendes.

Three men failed to make weight on their initial attempt, however, as Scott Jorgensen, Fabricio Camoes and Tony Martin came in too heavy. They have one hour to shed the additional weight.
