The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to build the line-up for its October 25th card in Rio de Janeiro, as lightweights Yan Cabral and Naoyuki Kotani have verbally agreed to fight.

UFC 179 will be hosted by the Brazilian city’s Maracanazinho Gymnasium and will feature featherweight champ Jose Aldo taking on Chad Mendes.

Cabral (11-1) will be looking to rebound from a decision loss he incurred versus Zak Cummings in May, after scoring a UD win over David Mitchell in October.

Kotani (33-11-7) returned to the UFC in July and was stopped by Norman Parke in the second round. The veteran had won 13 straight prior to the defeat.

Some of the other bouts scheduled for UFC 179 include Glover Teixeira vs. Phil Davis, Wilson Reis vs. Scott Jorgensen and Fabio Maldonado vs. Hans Stringer.
