UFC 182: Jon Jones Outscores Rival Daniel Cormier
By FCF Staff
Daniel Cormier provided a stiff test for Jon Jones tonight at UFC 182, but in the end, the light-heavyweight champ’s well rounded game proved to be too much for the challenger.
Cormier was able to land several telling punches throughout the bout, but Jones constantly threatened with hard kicks, and outscored “DC” in the clinch. Later in the fight, Jones was able to take the former Olympic wrestler down on a couple of occasions, while nearly all of the latter’s were stuffed.
After the bout, Jones was awarded the unanimous decision win, and the champ proceeded to relay once again that he doesn’t care for his rival.
