UFC 186 Receives John Makdessi vs. Abel Trujillo, Thomas Almeida vs. Yves Jabouin
By FCF Staff
The UFC’s next card in Montreal, Quebec, will feature two more of the city’s fighters, as the promotion has confirmed that Tristar’s Yves Jabouin and John Makdessi will compete at the event.
Makdessi will take on lightweight Abel Trujillo, while Jabouin will face rising bantamweight, Thomas Almeida.
Trujillo (12-6) is looking to rebound from a submission loss to Tony Ferguson in December, while Makdessi (12-3) hasn’t fought since last February, when he was decisioned by Alan Patrick.
Almeida (17-0) made his UFC debut in November, and earned a UD victory over Tim Gorman. Jabouin (20-9), on the other hand, worked his way to a decision win over Mike Easton in his last outing, which took place in June.
UFC 186 will feature a bantamweight bout between champion TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao in the main event. Tristar’s Rory MacDonald will also take on fellow, welterweight contender, Hector Lombard.
