The rematch between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao has been postponed once again, as the UFC has confirmed that the bantamweight champion is injured, and can no longer compete on April 25th.

Barao and Dillashaw were supposed to battle in the headliner of UFC 186, but the latter has fractured his rib and the bout’s been postponed. UFC President Dana White announced the news while appearing on KRRL-FM 92.3. in Los Angeles, and the promotion has also posted the news on its official site.

The UFC has not said whether Barao will remain on the card.

Dillashaw and Barao fought for the first time last May, and the latter’s 32 fight undefeated run came to an end, as he was stopped in the fifth round. The bantamweights were booked for a rematch at UFC 177 in August, but Barao fell ill during his weight cut and had to withdraw. Dillashaw fought last minute replacement Joe Soto, and won the bout via fifth round KO.

UFC 186 will be headlined now by a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi. The card will be hosted by the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
