Many throughout the MMA world are praising Daniel Cormier for his gutsy and narrow victory over Alexander Gustafsson last night, including his rival, Jon Jones.

Cormier worked his way to a split decision win over Gustafsson at UFC 192, in what was a brutal and bloody affair. Following the thrilling fight, Jones posted the following comment on Instgram, before deleting it (via MMA Fighting.com).

“You showed some heart tonight, DC,”

Jones and Cormier fought this past January, and the latter lost the bout via unanimous decision.

In April, Jones was arrested for his involvement in a hit-and-run incident, and was stripped of the light-heavyweight title. Recently, Jones pled guilty to the charges and received 18 months of probation.

“Bones” also reportedly posted a video on Instagram where he relayed “I think I miss it. I don’t know.”

The UFC is considering reinstating Jones, and if he is, it’s expected he’ll fight Cormier next.
